One of the more enjoyable jobs I have had due to the ability to directly solve a customers needs and see them leave with a smile. Here, I grew familiar with general shop tools and home repair.  Two cycle engine repair, replacing bearings & seals on pool pumps, redoing window screens, building grills & tables, and constructing custom solutions using off-the-shelf parts to meet a customers needs.  These projects helped me gain comfortability with basic shop and hand tools while I was still young. I grew familiar with fastener nomenclature and learned how to fix basic mechanical problems even without the perfect commercial solution. I used the skills I learned at this hardware store to branch into servicing irrigation systems, general handyman work, and automotive maintenance & repair.
